Trump Appears To Launch His 2024 Campaign

ICYMI| Supporters of President Donald J. Trump are very hopeful that he will run for President again in 2024, and Democrat Joe Biden’s failure over the summer is not only the focus of Trump’s advertisement against Biden, but it may also have kicked off the 2024 Presidential campaign cycle.

Key Point:  The Democrats are facing a formidable opponent, and he may have started his campaign earlier than anyone expected.

Democrats are used to a very short campaign cycle since most Republicans have barely fought for voters over the past few decades, preferring to hand an easy victory to the left.

If speculation is correct about Trump running in 2024 and the following ad being his footprint into the process, the Democrats are in for a very bold fight from a very bold fighter.

Fox News reported on the ad:

“Failure” which uses a montage of video clips and still photos to criticize Biden over this summer’s lightning fast takeover of Afghanistan by repressive Taliban forces and the hastily organized evacuation at Kabul’s international airport to airlift Americans and their Afghan allies out of the warn torn Central Asian country.

The spot – backed by a very modest ad buy – ran briefly on cable TV, according to officials with Trump’s Save America PAC, which produced the commercial. And Save America is currently fundraising off the ad.

In a fundraising email this weekend, the moderator in what appears to be a newer version of the spot charges, “we told you Joe Biden was not up to the job. Now we’re seeing the devastating consequences of his incompetence.”

Since the end of his administration seven and a half months ago, Trump has repeatedly teased making another White House run in 2024. If he follows through on his flirtations, the spot could be seen as the first ad of the next presidential campaign.

Choosing to campaign on Biden’s failure will be an easy fight because most Americans are already sick of Biden, just 8 months into his first year. Biden’s administration is already beginning to future under the strain of the massive disappearance of Biden’s already questionable support.

“I think it’s an issue that Americans are going to care about for a long time,” a source in Trump’s political orbit told Fox News when asked about the Afghanistan-themed ad.

Biden has been facing a barrage of bipartisan criticism for weeks for handling the hastily organized evacuation efforts.

ANOTHER TELLTALE SIGN- TRUMP IS TROLLING THE MEDIA

Trump, a master troll, is also showing up in the social media feeds of the left, trolling the media and getting them to talk about him running.

JULY

AUGUST

Just the News reported:

Trump announced his plans in August on the multi-platform Todd Starnes show to return to the first-in-the-nation presidential balloting state.

“We’re doing some more,” said Trump, who was elected to the White House in 2015 but lost his 2020 reelection bid. “We’re going to Iowa. We’re going to Georgia. We’re going to some others.”

A source familiar with Trump’s plans told the Des Moines Register initial conversations had begun about holding an Iowa rally.

Earlier this month, Trump’s leadership PAC hired two Iowa political consultants – Eric Branstad and Alex Latcham – as senior advisers, another possible indication of his interest in Iowa, according to the Des Moines Register.

Trump has said election laws prevent him from saying whether he’ll seek reelection.
