Rep. Ayanna Pressley Busted In Rental Income Double Standard

ICYMI| The Squad is the “Do as I Say, Not as I Do Caucus.” Ayanna Pressley is a prime example of that. At the same time, she was pushing for the defunding of the police, she was spending tons of campaign money for private security. Because, as we all know, only the elite has the right to be safe. For the little guy or gal, they want to take away the police and your guns to make the country safe for criminals.

And now, at the same time that Pressley is pushing for the government to wipe out rent owed that built up during the pandemic and in all likelihood bankrupt people who depend on rental income during their retirement, she sits back and collects over two thousand dollars a month in rental payments.

Why doesn’t she forgive her tenants? It’s a crime if you want to get paid, but it’s okay for her because she has liberal privilege.

Pressley has even co-authored a bill named, the “Rent and Mortgage Cancellation Act” that would cancel all rent owed during the pandemic, starting from last April until the pandemic ends sometime in the 22nd century. But, what if her tenants do not pay their rent? She can always sic her private security officers on them.

Pressley worked with Ilhan Omar on the bill. The bill would provide relief for renters and mortgage holders, but if you are a lender or a landlord, you have to abide strictly by the rules they lay down for you for five years. Those rules can be very constrictive. Ain’t socialism great?

But Pressley owns a rental property?

That’s right.

According to financial disclosures filed last week, Pressley reported thousands of dollars worth of rental income from 2020.

Fox News reported:

Pressley’s 2020 financial disclosure, filed on Friday, disclosed between $5,000 and $15,000 in rental income from a Boston property in her husband’s name. The property was converted into a multi-family apartment after it was purchased, according to Pressley’s disclosure. …

She disclosed the same range of rental income – between $5,000 and $15,000 – in 2020 as she did in 2019, before the pandemic began.
