Not a day goes by in which I wonder how the hell people actually willingly tune in to watch ‘The View’.
The women who make up the show have pissing off logical and free thinking people down to a science. Even the token ‘conservatives’ on the show are hard to listen to as it is clear they are merely there as a punching bag, someone to provide the other side of the story … badly enough they can be easily refuted.
Recently Whoopi Goldberg went and said something that was so far over the top that even the ‘liberals’ at ABC could not put up with it.
Now, it would have been nice to see Goldberg … and the entire class of clowns that make up ‘The View’ removed for good, however in this case our reprieve is merely a few weeks …
Jim Hoft, the founder of The Gateway Pundit reports:
Earlier this week Whoopi Goldberg made the mistake of suggesting the Holocaust was “not about race.”
Her comments made national headlines.
On Tuesday Whoopi came out and apologized for her comments.

Tonight ABC suspended Whoopi from The View for two weeks.
Mediaite reported:
Whoopi Goldberg has been suspended from The View for two weeks after she controversially claimed on Monday that the Holocaust was “not about race.”
During a segment in which the show’s panelists discussed a Tennessee school board’s removal of the Holocaust graphic novel Maus from its eighth-grade curriculum, Sunny Hostin accused members of the board of “banning discussions about race.”
Co-host Joy Behar agreed, while Goldberg shared a peculiar take.
Goldberg said, “If you’re going to do this, then let’s be truthful about it because the Holocaust isn’t about race.”
“No, it’s not about race,” Goldberg added after some back and forth. “It’s not about race. It’s about man’s inhumanity to man. That’s what it’s about.”
Goldberg doubled down after some pushback.

ABC president’s note to staff:
Effective immediately, I am suspending Whoopi Goldberg for two weeks for her wrong and hurtful comments.
While Whoopi has apologized, I’ve asked her to take time to reflect and learn about the impact of her comments.
