The arrogance of Jessie Smollett is incredible.
Despite being proven, beyond a reasonable doubt, guilty of staging the most unbelievable hate hoax in recent memory, against himself, the gay actor continues to lie in court, to the judge and everyone who will listen, that he is ‘innocent.’
Jessie does not seem to care that the men he hired to pretend to try and lynch him confessed to being paid off to stage the incident, he is sticking to his story.
To add another level of drama to the saga, after being sentenced, Smollett repeated over and over again that he was ‘not suicidal.’ Smollett was obviously implying that he feared he would be ‘suicided’ (to become a victim of ‘Arkanside’) while in prison.
It is unclear who exactly it is that Jessie believes may make an attempt on his life .. or why on Earth anyone would be looking to ‘take him out,’ but facts have not been very important in this case thus far.
Regardless of all this noise, the joke is on us as the judge has just decided to release Jessie from prison … yes, seriously … it must be nice to be a young, black, gay, actor in the justice system …
The Gateway Pundit reported:
An appellate court ordered Jussie Smollett released from jail on Wednesday pending the appeal of his conviction.
The Associated Press reported:
Jussie Smollett was ordered released from jail Wednesday by an appeals court that agreed with his lawyers that he should be released pending the appeal of his conviction for lying to police about a racist and homophobic attack.
The ruling came after a Cook County judge sentenced Smollett last week to immediately begin serving 150 days in jail for his conviction on five felony counts of disorderly conduct for lying to police. The appeals court said Smollett could be released after posting a personal recognizance bond of $150,000.
Smollett’s attorneys had argued that he would have completed the sentence by the time the appeal process was completed and that Smollett could be in danger of physical harm if he remained locked up in Cook County Jail.
Last Thursday a judge scolded Jussie Smollett for his narcissism and hypocrisy before sentencing him to 150 days in jail.
Smollett was also sentenced to 30 months probation, ordered to pay $120,126 restitution and a $25,000 fine.
Jussie Smollett stood up after the judge sentenced him and began shouting, “I am not suicidal! I am innocent!”’
