Rich Welsh| On Tuesday, on Fox News’ “Special Report,” former Attorney General Bill Barr said that for him it was disturbing to see former President Donald Trump’s “detachment from reality” after the 2020 presidential election.
I think it was Barr who became detached when he decided he wasn’t even going to look into the accusations.
Host Bret Baier asked, “What do you think was the most alarming or unsettling moment for you in the administration?”
Barr responded, “It was certainly unsettling when I went in to talk to the president about the election, and he was livid and shaking and showed a lot of temper and yelling. That was a little unsettling.”
Given what we know about what really happened during the 2020 election, I would be disturbed if Trump didn’t go into a rage.
Barr added, “The other thing that was unsettling was later when I went in to actually give him my letter of resignation, he started talking about he won the election, the machines are rigged, and he was going to be there another term, and he was very confident of that. And I just felt that this showed a detachment from reality that was stunning to me. He was willing to accept anything no matter how fanciful as long as it didn’t make him a loser in the election.”
It’s amazing how Barr said after the election that he did an investigation and found no evidence of election fraud. Talk about detachment from reality. Of course he wouldn’t find evidence at the federal level. The fraud was done at the county level in the key battleground states. Plus, when Barr made that statement, hardly any time had gone by to collect and categorize the evidence. That was still ongoing in the states.
Barr completely ignored the legislature hearings on election irregularities in key battleground states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, and Georgia where whistleblowers and data experts testified via affidavits under penalty of perjury that they witnessed and discovered massive amounts of election fraud.
The misinformation news media along with censoring tech tyrants blocked any and all news and information that came out of those hearings. That’s what allowed Democrats and Liz Cheney to refer to the election fraud evidence as Trump’s “Big Lie” in efforts to dismiss the evidence outright. Not one person who used that term ever once asked to see the data.
To this day, you could be censored for posting real-world evidence of 2020 election fraud.
When Baier asked Barr what he would say to Trump supporters, Barr replied, “I say the truth is important, and the truth is he lost the election.”
It sounds like Barr was put up to say these things by the DC establishment in its never-ending hit pieces to kill Trump’s chances of running again in 2024. Take what he says with a grain of salt.
