Rich Welsh| Each week, we hear about the war zone that takes place in Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot‘s Chicago. The racist Lightfoot and her administration are constantly coming up with more scapegoats to explain why people have to drive through Chicago, in 100 degree heat, with broken air conditioning, in their cars with the windows up.
We have reported 32 people being shot over a weekend, and 56 people being shot in Chicago over the previous weekend, and 34 people shot, and 65 people shot and it goes on and on. All those stories took place over separate weekends in Chicago.
And it continues with 14 people were shot, with one being killed over this weekend starting Friday into Easter Sunday morning in Lightfoot’s Chicago.
This is a woman who said she will not take interviews from white reporters and no one is asking why she is still allowed to run the city when the black population is being slaughtered on her streets.
The fatal shooting happened Easter Sunday morning at around 2:20 AM in the 8400 block of S Aberdeen St, according to the Chicago Sun-Times and Fox 32. The victim was a 27-year-old man who was simply standing outside when he was shot in the leg and transported to a hospital where he died.
Last weekend, 27 people were shot in Lightfoot’s Chicago with 6 of the shootings being fatal, according to Breitbart News.
According to the website heyjackass.com, which for years has been keeping track of shootings in the city of Chicago, notes that in this April to date, 106 people were shot and wounded in Chicago with 28 being shot and killed. That’s 134 people being shot and we’re slightly over halfway through April. Are you kidding me?
According to the site, last weekend there were 55 people shot in Lightfoot’s Chicago with 11 people being killed. Year to date shows 756 people shot with 145 being shot and killed. We just started the second quarter of the year!
The site notes that as of this writing, in Chicago, a person is shot 3 hours and 23 minutes and a person is murdered every 15 hours and 35 minutes so says the 2022 Chicago Shot Clock.
For 2021, 797 homicides in Chicago were confirmed by Chicago police, according to The Hill. That makes 2021 the most deadly year Chicago has experienced in a quarter of a century.
Folks, this is completely unacceptable. Something has to be done. Mayor Lightfoot is useless at this point. Nothing she does stops the shootings, stops the killings. There are enough shooting deaths to justify the National Guard taking over the streets until the city’s shooters are brought under control. I think a big problem for the city is it has a mayor with a huge ego who does not like to take blame for things that go wrong in her city and goes to great lengths to deflect blame like blaming the guns and not the people shooting them. She once claimed that the city is a war zone because people purchase firearms outside the city and bring them in. That goes on in many other cities that do not have the shooting and murder numbers of Chicago. It appears Lightfoot spends more time and energy finding others to blame than actually working on the problem. Meanwhile, people are dying every weekend by unacceptable numbers.
There is a culture of crime, drugs, and violence on Chicago’s toughest streets that has been allowed to breed and fester and the lack of respect for life there is notorious.
