Rich Welsh| Breitbart News received audio from former President Donald Trump‘s team covering the end of Trump’s interview with Piers Morgan. The audio reveals how Morgan and his team edited parts of the interview to make it seem as though the end of the interview was contentious and antagonistic when it wasn’t anything of the sort. In other words, Morgan and his team edited the audio file using a form of censorship.
On Wednesday, Morgan had released a thirty-second promotional video clip that sounded like Trump was being hostile and combative and walked out of the interview in the middle, making it seem like Trump was upset that Morgan asked him tough questions about the 2020 election. Morgan went with the typical Democrat mantra that Trump has provided no hard evidence that there was voter fraud during the presidential election.
When you hear the real story, it appears that Morgan and his people edited the clips to make it appear different from what really happened. It’s a dirty trick that scumbags in news do when they want to do a hit piece against someone they don’t like and grab some ratings at the same time
What’s hilarious is that Morgan’s new show that will start next week on Talk TV, a subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch‘s News Corporation, is called “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” and the interview with Trump they are promoting to get good ratings is made up of censored audio. You really can’t make that up.
Trump’s communications director, Taylor Budowich, said “This is a pathetic attempt to use President Trump as a way to revive the career of a failed television host,” he said. “It is also another example of President Trump being right, as he told Piers Morgan that the host was dishonest to his face, and Piers, for the first time in his life, didn’t disappoint.”
The clip that Morgan and his team promoted almost immediately was covered by media outlets and hit the center headline on the leftist Drudge Report with numerous links charging that Trump had a “meltdown.” This is the same kind of crap that Trump had to put up with for all four years of his presidency.
The clip pulled together short parts of the interview of Trump referring to Morgan as a fool and saying “this is very dishonest” and “let’s finish the interview,” and then showing Trump standing up and walking off the set saying, “turn the camera off.”

The problem for Morgan and every other reprobate that ran with his lies is that is not what really happened. The former president spent over an hour with Morgan answering questions, most of which had absolutely nothing to do with the 2020 election. When you listen to the full audio, you hear the last part of the promotional clip where Trump stands up and while he’s walking away he says “turn the camera off” after Morgan officially ended the interview and thanks Trump for “a great interview.”
The audio file is over 7 minutes long, and it begins where Budowich jumps in and tells Morgan he has to wrap it up. “We’re an hour in,” he siad. “We need to wrap.”
Morgan then says, “Just a few quick questions, then.” Budowich replies, “Thank you.”
He then asks Trump if he can define the word woman. Trump responds by denouncing Lia Thomas, the male transgender swimmer who is competing in the women’s swimming league events. Morgan then continues to pepper Trump with more questions.
At one point, Morgan asks Trump if his family is behind him running for president again. Trump responded by saying his family loves the country. He then mentioned several of his accomplishments when he was in the White House. When the former president started talking about Operation Warp Speed that got rid of the government red tape to get a COVID vaccine out quicker than it would normally take, Morgan asked another question about Trump saying he is fully vaccinated and encouraged Americans to take the jab.
Trump replied, “We saved tens of millions of lives.” He added, “Maybe this would have been the Spanish Flu of 1917 had we not we come up… I got it done in 9 months as opposed to, they were projecting 5 to 12 years. I got it done in 9 months. I’m very proud of that.”

Morgan then goes on to ask yet another question. This one was about Morgan’s time with Trump when they co-starred on The Apprentice, and that’s when another Trump aide in the background said, “Last question.” Morgan blows that person off, saying: “Yeah, yeah.”
After more back and forth, Morgan asks Trump’ people for one more “last question.”
Budowich then responds, saying, “You’ve done ‘last question’ four times now. I feel like you’re lying at this point.”
Trump jumps in and says, “Very deceptive.”
“I haven’t asked about—I wanted to end with your hole-in-one,” Morgan says, and asks Trump to describe his recent hole-in-one when playing alongside golf legend Ernie Els.
Trump says it’s okay and tells Morgan, “Go ahead.” Trump then spends over a minute answering the question. After that, Morgan agrees that the interview is over and he thanks Trump for a “great interview.”
When the microphones were being unhooked from Trump’s clothing and the former president was preparing to leave, Trump said, “Turn the camera off,” and one of his team members said, “Turn the mics off, too.” As the audio file ends, you hear Trump say, “Very dishonest.”
