Let’s be honest, we have heard these stories over and over again … ‘Hillary facing charges’, ‘Hunter facing charges’, ‘Obama facing …’, insert whatever high profile name you like, followed by ‘facing charges’ and the headlines are all over the internet.
Yes, it is true that there are mountains of evidence that makes these stories credible from afar. The issue is not that there is a lack of evidence, the issue is that no one has faith that the government would actually do anything to hold Presidents, Vice Presidents, (past or present), or even children of President’s accountable for their actions, no matter how depraved.
For a while I had faith that Donald Trump was going to be the man to tear down the brick wall that stood between high level politicians and the criminal court room. After 4 plus years I began to realize this was not going to happen.
Well, here we are again, this time it’s Hunter Biden again. What makes this case different is that it grows out of a custody case in which Hunter father a child with a stripper whom he once slept with.
Now, I may be falling into the same trap of letting what I want to see happen (justice enforced no matter who is guilty) override my better sense and believing that Hunter will actually be tried for his crimes … or, maybe this is the moment the damn breaks.

Hunter Biden’s baby mama, Lunden Robert recently testified to a Delaware grand jury.
Hunter Biden revealed in December 2020 that he was under investigation by the feds over his taxes.
“I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs,” Hunter Biden said in December 2020. “I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.”
Hunter Biden’s ex-girlfriend Zoe Kestan and Lunden Roberts, the former stripper who had a baby with him, testified to a federal grand jury about Hunter’s spending habits.
According to CNBC, Clint Lancaster, Lunden Roberts’ lawyer, handed over “a significant amount of Hunter’s financial records” to the feds under subpoena.
“I expect him to be indicted,” Lancaster said based on what he saw after looking at Hunter Biden’s financial records.

The Arkansas woman who had a child by Hunter Biden out of wedlock recently testified to a federal grand jury in Delaware as part of a criminal tax probe of the son of President Joe Biden, her lawyer confirmed Thursday.
Clint Lancaster, the attorney for the mother, Lunden Alexis Roberts, also told CNBC that he previously handed over “a significant amount of Hunter’s financial records” to federal investigators to comply with a subpoena for those files.
Lancaster said he and Roberts were interviewed by an assistant U.S. attorney, an FBI agent and an IRS agent — “one that carries a badge and gun” — more than a year ago about Biden in Little Rock, Ark., where Lancaster practices law.
“I expect him to be indicted,” the lawyer said about Biden. “Just based on what I saw in his financial records, I would be surprised if he’s not indicted.”
Despite that expectation, Lancaster said that both he and his client Roberts “don’t want Hunter to go to jail.”
“It’s not my goal, much to the unhappiness of many people in the Republican Party,” said Lancaster, a supporter of former President Donald Trump who in late 2020 worked on a legal challenge to results that showed Biden had won the state of Wisconsin that year.
Lancaster told CNBC the daughter Hunter Biden had outside of wedlock, Navy Roberts, looks “just like” Hunter.
