Maxine Waters Pays Daughter Another $24,000 in Campaign Funds – in Addition to $1.2 Million in Payments Since 2003

It pays to be the child of a Democratic politician. Just ask Hunter Biden and Karen Waters. Both have made a fortune cashing in on their parents. True, Hunter is much worse because he was getting money from countries that hate America, and Karen Waters only took money from an American who hates America. Maxine Waters has just paid Karen another $24,000 on top of the $1.2 million she has already collected since 2003.

Rep Ilhan Omar has paid her husband $3 million dollars in the past few years. That money represents 80% of all income for her husband Tim Mynett’s political consulting firm, the E Street Group. Her mentor in the House, Pramila Jayapal, paid E Street another $194,000 dollars. When that alerted watchdog groups Omar canceled her contract and E Street began consulting for the wine industry. They have just added an account for a committee connected to Omar.

Karen Waters runs a slate mailing campaign for her mother. It is common in state elections but not in federal ones. In 2020, Waters was the only federal candidate to run one. Slate-mailing is a pamphlet of sorts that contains a list of candidates or policy measures and advises voters on how to cast their ballots.

From Fox News

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., paid her daughter another $24,000 in campaign cash during the most recent quarter, Federal Election Commission records reviewed by Fox News Digital show.

Karen Waters, who has been organizing slate-mailing operations to bolster her mother’s re-election for nearly two decades, and her company, Progressive Connections, have received more than $1.2 million since 2003 for campaign services, including “slate mailer management” fees and “campaign managing services.”

A “Citizens for Waters” campaign committee filing from earlier this week shows that the younger Waters received $24,000 from the committee between January and March 2022.

Following questions over the arrangement, Omar terminated the contract in November 2020. Mynett and his business partner, Will Hailer, began consulting the wine industry.

However, the E Street Group appears to be shifting back to the political consulting world. In February, the E Street Group received its first federal committee payment in more than a year, which was sent from a committee linked to Omar, Fox News Digital reported this week.
