Rich Welsh| Joe Rogan got into the whole “Lia Thomas is a man playing women’s sports” argument and said that the NCAA transgender swimmer competing and dominating is an “assault on women’s sports.” And leftists believe that statement is an assault on transgender people because leftists are crazy.
I believe a lot of the transgender movement is about eliminating biological women from society in the sense of being a category of the human species.
During an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” on Thursday, the #1 podcaster threw in his 2 cents on Thomas being considered the best “women’s swimmer” by saying it is nothing short of “terrible” for the transgender movement.
“What it is now is not good,” Rogan said. “What it is now is assault on women’s sports, and the idea that anybody would think it’s fair that someone who was number 462 as a man, 462 in the nation is number one as a woman a year later, and that’s fair,” said Rogan.
It’s about time someone had the balls to say it. [pun intended]
Thomas is a biological male and no amount of surgery, chemicals, or lying is going to change that… ever. He is a 5th year senior who competed for 3 years on the men’s team before transitioning to female, which ultimately means one day he woke up and thought, I’m going to be a woman now. After that, Thomas’ ranking rose incredibly from 462 in the men’s college swimming to #1 as a female college swimmer.
I have to agree with Rogan. It’s not fair to the women who worked hard to compete to be blown out by men who couldn’t cut it as a man and now claim to be a woman. They’re not women.
During the show, comedian Yannis Pappas joked, “You don’t think maybe it was her passion for swimming that got her to number one? Or changing diet?”
Rogan said, “Could be, maybe just becoming her true self.”
“I can think of any other factor it could be. I’m just going passion for swimming,” Pappas joked again.
“But that might be the woke straw that breaks society’s camel back. Women are so frustrated, or parents,” Rogan added. “If your daughter is competing, and they’re competing against a trans woman, it’s not fair. It’s just not fair. No matter what anybody says.” Amen, brother.
Rogan said, “There’s this nonsense idea of like, well, there’s outliers and all. There’re outliers, and then there’s biological males. That’s beyond outliers.”
“There’s always exceptions,” Pappas said. “The ancient Greeks said ‘there’s no rule without an exception, but you can’t define what it is based on the exceptions.”
Why is it that up until Rogan, I only hear conservatives complaining about the unfairness to women in this whole transgender movement? Where are all the feminists? Why are they all silent? Don’t get me wrong. I adore whenever we don’t have to listen to them prattle on about the patriarchy. But they should be out protesting this stuff. The transgender movement is an existential threat to womanhood. Sports is just the first assault. What other areas of womanhood will be diminished next? Is the transgender movement considered part of The Great Reset or something, something so big that the feminists were told to just shut up about it? Where are they? And why is it considered hate speech when someone complains about a biological male with a Y chromosome competing against a biological female with an X chromosome?
Rogan then pointed out that sports are where most people say enough is enough. Sports are based on an individual’s ability to compete with a team or by themself, and sports fans expect the results of a competition to be based on how hard they trained and their God-given talents. People turn to sports to get away from leftist garbage that is thrown at them every single day in our society. Everything we do is permeated with leftist gobbledygook and sports fans are angry that their one haven, their one escape from the daily barrage of left-wing politics is being taken away from them by wokeness at ESPN, the NCAA, and most other areas of sports. You would think the executives who run all sports would have learned by the whole Colin Kaepernick debacle he started with the kneeling for the National Anthem and how that affected revenues for the NFL. But leftists never learn from their mistakes because they never believe they ever make mistakes.
“Well, it’s interesting because in all other aspects of society, it’s pretty much a given that, you know, a person can become trans and change their name and we’re all pretty accepting of it,” Rogan said. “Where people have the most pushback is in sports, athletic competition. That’s where the real pushback is, right? Where people like ‘Hey, the f**k, right? This is not fair.’ This is clearly not fair, is a reason why we have a distinction between men and women’s sports.”
Pappas pointed out the irony of the situation, saying that leftists are enthusiastic supporters of equality, and fighting for a level playing field but not when it comes to transgender athletes competing in sports.
“And it’s ironic because the people on that side usually always champion equality and nobody having an advantage and you know, the people who are maybe disenfranchised or less capable should have an equal opportunity and by throwing someone like Lia Thomas in there, you’re kind of … that’s the opposite of that,” Pappas noted.
Rogan suggested that the transgender movement, where biological male athletes crushing biological female athletes and breaking world records very easily, will lead to consequences that will be detrimental to the whole trans movement.
“I think it’s also probably terrible for the whole trans movement, because it makes people more cynical about what the positive aspects of it are, and it makes people more, you know, less likely to accept it, because they think of, now they think of trans people and trans rights, and they connect it to this athletic thing,” Rogan said. “It’s probably making people more distrustful or more upset and less accepting.”
He’s right. When the trans movement started, they told us they just wanted to be accepted in society. Well, society turned off their disbelief to enable people with a mental illness to live their lives however they wanted. But now they want to spit in the face of the acceptance society has shown by having men replace women in things that have always been important to women.
