Elon Musk appears to be on a shopping spree.
Shopping sprees for Elon are a little different than shopping sprees for someone like you or me.
Where you or I would go to the mall and get ourselves a pair a sneakers or maybe go all out and buy a new TV, Mr. Musk buys things that are listed on the stock exchange. Were’ not talking not penny stocks either.
A month or so ago Elon was talking about buying Twitter, the 2nd or third social network in the world.
Today Musk has decided to buy what amounts to the New York Yankees of European Football … Manchester United, the most storied soccer team in the world …
Just for some frame of reference, Forbes estimates that the soccer club is worth about $4,600,000,000. That’s four BILLION, 600 MILLION dollars.
The New York Yankees on the other hand, literally the most historic franchise in the history of sports, is estimated (by Forbes) to be worth about $6,000,000,000 … yes, 6 BILLION dollars.
Interestingly, Forbes claims that the Yankees bring in just under half a billion dollars in revenue while Manchester United generates 2/3 of a billion, give or take …
Jim Hoft, the founder of America’s number one political website, The Gateway Pundit reported:
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO announced his intention to purchase the football club based in the Old Trafford area of Greater Manchester, England on Tuesday.
Elon Musk tweeted the news that he will buy Manchester United.
Also, I’m buying Manchester United ur welcome

Before his announcement, Elon Musk wrote that he supported the “left half of the Republican Party and the right half of the Democratic Party.”
To be clear, I support the left half of the Republican Party and the right half of the Democratic Party!
