Syndicated with permission via Valiant News| Andrew White| Paul Pelosi Sr., the husband of Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, has pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence of alcohol on Tuesday after injuring another driver in a drunken car crash in Napa County, California which took place in May.
Pelosi, who entered his guilty plea through his attorneys without making an appearance in court, will be required to serve three years of probation.
The terms of Pelosi’s probation also include five days in jail, according remarks made by Judge Joseph Solga at the Napa County Superior Court as the sentence was read.
However, Pelosi will be credited for four out of the five days, with the remaining day being served on a court work program. Pelosi will not spend time in jail.

Originally, In early August, Pelosi pleaded not guilty to the DUI charges he initially received. Those charges, DUI causing injury and driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08% causing injury, could have resulted in up to 5 years of probation for the Speaker’s husband.
Pelosi’s 2021 Porsche, and a 2014 Jeep belonging to a driver known only as “John Doe” collided at around 10:17 PM on May 28, close to the intersection of State Route 29 and Oakville Cross Road in Napa County, California.
Pelosi was arrested, and bailed out the next morning for $5,000.
According to court documents, Pelosi’s eyes were allegedly “red/watery,” and was “unsteady on his feet, his speech was slurred, and he had a strong odor of an alcohol beverage emanating from his breath” at the time of the crash.
John Doe told prosecutors on June 2 that he had started feeling pain in his upper right arm, neck, and right shoulder the day following the crash, further complaining that he found it difficult to lift things with the injured arm, along with suffering headaches.
