Syndicated with permission via Valiant News| Andrew White| Conservative news pundit Steve Bannon, 68, turned himself in to authorities at the Manhattan Supreme Court in New York, where he is facing charges including include fraud, conspiracy, and money laundering, all related to the We Build The Wall effort.
New York prosecutors allege that Bannon and the organization falsely told donors that their money would only go toward funding the border wall, with none used to pay the group’s staff or administrators.
“This is what happens in the last days of a dying regime,” Bannon told reporters as he was escorted away earlier today. “They will never shut me up. They’ll have to kill me first. I have not yet begun to fight,” said Bannon, hands cuffed behind his back.

~Steve BannonIn every country where freedom was ripped away from the people by tyrants, that’s exactly the order it happened.
First they tried to silence them, then they killed them.

According to New York Attorney General Letitia James, who catapulted her political career with promises to wage lawfare against 45th President Donald Trump and his supporters, Bannon’s alleged crimes involved an online fundraiser for the U.S.-Mexico border wall.
Though Bannon was pardoned by Trump federally, James is still able to take legal action at the state level. James, of course, campaigned on taking action against Trump and his allies.
After an investigation by my office and @ManhattanDA, Steve Bannon has been indicted for stealing more than $15 million from thousands of Americans for his sham effort to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico.

Both Bannon and the fundraising organization were accused in a six-count indictment of allegedly committing “second-degree money laundering, fourth-degree conspiracy, first-degree scheme to defraud, and fifth-degree conspiracy.”
Through his attorney, Bannon entered a “not guilty” plea with the court.
Bannon previously referred to the matter as “phony charges” and “nothing more than a partisan political weaponization of the criminal justice system.”
In a statement released today, Bannon said “Just days after being swatted three different times by deranged thugs from New York City inspired by the Biden Administration to assassinate me by police, the Soros-backed DA has now decided to pursue phony charges against me 60 days before the midterm election because WarRoom is the major source of the MAGA grassroots movement.”
“The SDNY did the exact same thing in August 2020 to take me out of the election. It didn’t work then, it certainly won’t work now. This is nothing more than a partisan political weaponization of the criminal justice system,” Bannon continued.

“I am proud to be a leading voice on protecting our borders and building a wall to keep our country safe from drugs and violent criminals. The WarRoom show will be more vital, more intense, more urgent, and bigger this time.”
“They are coming after all of us, not only President Trump and myself. I am never going to stop fighting. In fact, I have not yet begun to fight. They will have to kill me first,” Bannon said.
Bannon was released on bail on Thursday afternoon.
Conservatives have rallied to the defense of the longtime Trump ally online and have called his prosecution “corrupt.”
“If Steve Bannon were a Democrat and raising money to fight climate change or support transsexuals, and if the circumstances otherwise were identical to his case, would any of this be happening to him? No! It follows that the NY justice system is deeply partisan and corrupt,” said Dinesh D’Souza, director of the famous “2000 Mules” election fraud film.

Pundit Jesse Kelly suggested Republicans use the power of government to investigate and arrest their opponents, summarizing, “Today it’s Bannon. Tomorrow it’s you.”
Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch described the display as a “Disturbing display of Bannon’s civil rights” that represents “Hugo Chavez-style prosecution by NY politicians.”
“Illegitimate regime escalates witch hunt against Bannon,” summarized Revolver News founder Dr. Darren Beattie.
This doesn’t stop until red areas and red DAs start arresting Democrats on television. There is no appeal to “norms” or “principles” that will make this stop.
Make them afraid of it happening to them or this gets much worse from here. Today it’s Bannon. Tomorrow it’s you. https://t.co/Ujvq5nteCx
