* There are some relevant items out today. The first is a new USA Today survey which not only finds surging Republican support but also shows that Republicans are drawing “40% and 21% of Hispanics”. . . According to exit polls from network networks, Republican Donald Trump won 12% of Blacks and 32% among Hispanics in 2020’s presidential election.
If this trend continues, it will be an extinction-level meteor heading straight to the Democratic Party.
* In the meantime, the party of “diversity, tolerance” is preventing Rep. Mayra Felices, the first Mexican-born member, from joining Congress’ Congressional Hispanic Caucus. She’s a Republican. It’s not about your ethnicity, but ideology for Democrats. It’s no surprise that they are losing support among blacks and Hispanics.
* The Nation Magazine asks in an email: “What are your drinking habits on election night?” They want to vote for The Nation Whine Club. . . I mean Wine Club. But if I were The Nation I’d ask leftists what kind of hemlock they want on election night.
