Dan Conston is president of the Congressional Leadership Fund. This super PAC is aligned to Kevin McCarthy, House Minority Leader. Their mission is to flip the House. They seem to be on the verge for success. Conston spoke for over an hour with Ryan Lizza of Politico Playbook about the details of CLF’s involvements in more than 50 districts across the country. They also discussed the issues and demographics surrounding this election, the emerging GOP opportunities in these final days of campaign, and the reasoning behind their involvement with the districts CLF believes are in play. The first 25 minutes were the most interesting. Although the drop-off is quite rapid after that, I found it interesting to the end and thought others might be interested.
