ABC, NBC Lash Out Over Supreme Court Hearing Affirmative Action Case

ABC’s Good Morning America, NBC’s Today and NBC’s Today attacked Chief Justice John Roberts and the five constitutionalist justices for refusing to hear the case. The networks called the court “ideologically conservative” despite the fact that the court only has five to six judges who uphold the constitution consistently.

Terry Moran, a senior national correspondent, complained that the case is being heard by a court with a conservative majority that is ready and willing to change decades of settled law and precedent.

Moran, who acted as a special pleader to universities that offer race-based treatment, claimed they “take a holistic approach to applicants”. Their admission decisions use race as just one factor.

Moran then praised Biden’s radical leftist Supreme Court selection, saying that “Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is already showing as the second African person on the Supreme Court and the first black woman on court that she’s keen for her to engage on these difficult topics in a very different manner from Justice Clarence Thomas.”

Moran, who was on the verge of a rage attack on the Supreme Court’s current composition, asked: “How far will that conservative majority go?” Will they severely limit affirmative action, or ban it altogether in college admissions?

Kelly O’Donnell, White House correspondent, complained on NBC’s Today about the Supreme Court’s decision regarding Affirmative Action’s constitutionality. She also praised the benefits of diversity and said that she felt the same way.

O’Donnell referred to Harvard University and the University of North Carolina. O’Donnell claimed that discriminating against Asian students will lead to a “diverse campus” that benefits all students. Of course, NBC did not explain how fewer Asian or white students would benefit students at college campuses.

Savanah Guthrie, co-host, jumped in to give her opinion. She called the Supreme Court “an ideologically conservative court.”

Guthrie was concerned that “the court took these cases, many legal observers suggest it may be ready to strike down affirmative actions.”

O’Donnell also agreed and falsely claimed that “this is a Supermajority” Supreme Court had “six conservatives and three liberal justices.”

She continued to complain that she felt that the justices wanted to examine that issue and might be willing to reverse it.

ABC and NBC attempted to label the Supreme Court “ideologically conservative” and lash at the court for hearing a challenge against the racist policy of Affirmative action were made possible by the endorsement of advertisers like CarMax (on ABC) and Google (on NBC). TERRY MORAN: Should race be considered in college admissions? This is the question that is being asked by the Supreme Court, but this time it is a court with a energized conservative majority that has already shown it’s willing and able to overturn decades worth of settled law.

Students and parents from the conservative group of student activists have sued Harvard University and University of North Carolina, claiming that the way these schools determine who gets in is contrary to the constitution and federal civil right law. Discriminating against Asian American students and white students.

Schools claim that they take a holistic approach to applicants. Their admissions decisions are based on race as one of many factors. It is not to establish quotas, but to maximize the educational benefits of a diverse student body. This case is before the most diverse Supreme Court ever.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is already the second-black Supreme Court justice and the first black woman to be on the court. She’s also shown that she’s willing to discuss difficult issues in a different way than Justice Clarence Thomas. The real question is, however, how far will this conservative majority go. Will they restrict affirmative action or ban it from college admissions?

KELLY O’DONNELL: This is a high stakes, high-profile day at the Supreme Court this term. Harvard and University of North Carolina affirmative action Both schools claim that they used race in a holistic approach to student applications. They believe that this creates a diverse campus that benefits all students.

A conservative group representing Asian American students and white students claims that discrimination based on race is against federal law. This case has attracted a lot attention. Separately, nine states have passed laws stating that affirmative action cannot apply to college admissions. Savannah.

SAVANAH GUTRIE: This court is clearly conservative ideologically. Many legal observers believe that the court decided to take these two cases. This could indicate that it is ready for affirmative action.

O’DONNELL – That is the sense Savannah. This is a supermajority. Six conservative justices and three liberal justices made up the court. The lower court had upheld affirmative actions in college admissions. This gives the impression that these justices are interested in examining that issue and may be willing or able to reverse it.
