A new report by Hunter Biden that Hunter Biden’s realty company received a $40 Million investment from a Russian oligarch was completely ignored by the Big Three evening news networks.
According to the Daily Mail, “Yelena Baturina,” a billionaire widow of a corrupt Moscow Mayor, reportedly invested $40m in Hunter Biden’s real-estate company. According to reports, the investment was made while Joe Biden was Vice President during the Obama administration.
Baturina’s brother Viktor Baturin reportedly said to the Daily Mail that the money was a “payment to enter the American marketplace.” However, the Big Three evening news programs — ABC’s World News Tonight and CBS Evening News — failed to report the Daily Mail’s story during their Oct. 17 evening broadcasts.
Tara Servatius, radio host, tweeted the following day after Daily Mail reported the news about Hunter Biden: “We finally discovered the Russian payoff money that the MSM was searching for!” Trump received not a single cent. Not one bloody cent. Hunter was gifted $40 million by a Russian oligarch.
Forbes described Baturina, the “Russia’s wealthiest woman”, as the owner of “real property in Europe and the USA.” She was also the second wife to Yury Luzkhkov (the former mayor of Moscow), who died in 2019, according Reuters. Luzkhkov appears to have a long and rich history of corruption allegations. The Guardian reported that Luzkhkov was accused in 2011 of “financial wrongdoing” worth 230 billion roubles in 2009 and 2010.
Hunter Biden is not the first Russian oligarch Hunter Biden has been tethered to. Sens. Sens.
Johnson and Grassley reported that Hunter Biden received a wire transfer of $3.5 million from Elena Baturina (the wife of the former mayor in Moscow). “The Committees have evidence that Hunter Biden and his family were part of a financial network that connected them with foreign nationals and foreign governments around the world,” Johnson and Grassley wrote.
The $40 million investment was not the only Hunter Biden news the Big Three ignored last evening.
Kevin Tober, MRC news analyst, also called out the evening shows for ignoring a whistleblower’s report that revealed President Joe Biden knew about Hunter’s shady business dealings.
“Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley claims that new whistleblower documents show President Biden knew about son Hunter Biden’s business arrangements and may be involved in some of them,” Fox News Special Report anchor Bret Bailey stated on his Oct. 17 program.
