All those who sipped their coffees while watching Tuesday’s CBS Mornings will be remembered. They spit their coffee all over the place when the hosts talked about ejaculation.
Tony Dokoupil, host of “Talk of the Table” on Tuesday, promoted Ejaculate Responsibly, a book that offers a “whole new approach to abortion.”
The book contains 28 short arguments that explain why men are responsible for pregnancies and why women “need” abortions.
Here’s a summary from Gabrielle Blair’s website.
Blair’s book is easy to read, accessible, funny and unflinching. She explains the basics of fertility, the unfair burden on women in preventing pregnancy (90% market for birth control is for women), and the wrongheaded stigmas surrounding birth control for men (condoms can make sex less pleasurable, vasectomies can be scary and emasculating), as well as the counterintuitive reality of men, who are 100% fertile, taking little or no responsibility for preventing pregnancy.
Although it’s an interesting concept, it was a little disappointing to see CBS devote so much time to ejaculation. Unfortunately, the discussion did not stop there.
Dokoupil stated that no one is rooting for abortion, regardless of whether it’s a problem to solve or a right to fight for.
While I wish he was right, we have seen many celebrities praise abortions, protestors celebrating them and state legislatures passing laws that glorify the practice.
Dokoupil noted that unplanned pregnancies are the main cause and driver of abortions. This seems to contradict the leftist narrative, that abortions occur most often when the mother is in danger or because of financial instability, and possibly due to birth defects. Dokoupil points out that most abortions are elective abortions. This is because the woman didn’t want to conceive the baby.
This brings us back to the book.
“There are certain men who use certain methods. I tell them that you can’t pull out of a driveway. Nate Burleson, co-host, added that it was important to use a method that works.
Dokoupil insists that he will pass the book Ejaculate Responsibly to Christmas gifts.
Hey, the segment and book promoted safe sex and birthcontrol BEFORE a woman becomes pregnant. Not after. Bravo! But please save the ejaculation segments until after breakfast.
