Column: CBS News gushes over actresses for abortion

Liberals and Democrats are still convinced that the right of abortion is their saving grace in the final days of the midterm election campaign. Hollywood feminists are leading the charge, making propagandistic films about the right to end innocent life.

CBS Mornings has just done two promotional interviews with actresses Sigourney and Elizabeth Banks about their movie Call Jane. It is based on an underground Chicago abortion provider that killed approximately 10,000 babies in 1968 before abortion was legalized in America.

How biased was CBS? In these interviews, no one used the word “baby,” at any point. The unborn are the most dehumanized Americans.

Weaver explained that on October 24, co-host Nate Burleson told Weaver that it was “powerful” that she wore a button reading “Bans Off Our Bodies.” “We cosponsored Planned Parenthood’s premiere in Los Angeles, and they gave us these pins.” Nobody was stupid enough to compare that logic with refusing to get vaccinated. That’s yesterday’s battle, apparently.

Weaver insists that she considers this women’s healthcare. She claims pro-life activists are now “criminalizing anyone helping a woman get an abortion and criminalizing them too.” CBS did not fact-check Weaver. She is a liberal actress.

Weaver was told by Dokoupil that the polls show that most people in the nation are where you are on this topic. They support women’s access rights, but the issue is extremely divisive.

The majority of people in the country support Weaver and her Planned Parenthood Pin?

Banks boasted on October 26 about “these very revolution women in Chicago, you know, who provided really caring, safe abortion care.”

Worse, Banks claimed that abortion is safer than most other dental experiences, despite denying the humanity and dignity of babies. It’s safer than a colonoscopy.

Banks made a mockery of the claim that the film “depoliticized abortion health insurance as much as possible, really tried re-centering it as the care that it is.” This movie and these interviews are not depoliticized. The Hollywood Left would love to claim that it’s “not politically” to force their agenda on your throat.

Banks is being political by complaining that “I don’t like to be in the physician’s office discussing planning my family with Lindsey Graham and my husband.”

Banks also complained about the fear that young people have about sex. “We live in a society that places shame and stigma around these issues so heavily, that a lot lies get told people, especially young people. It makes sex seem scary and you’re all likely to get STDs. You should also wait until you get married to have sex. It’s not a lived reality for people, right?

Why is abortion so important if it’s a “lie”, that girls might get pregnant?

Tony Dokoupil made a ridiculous suggestion in the first interview that “no one wants abortions” Everyone who complains about abortion’s “shame” and stigma is saying that abortions should be legal and acceptable. People who use phrases such as “abortion care” don’t mean abortion is murder. They mean it’s “care.”

These actresses can move from studio to studio, promoting the bravery of abortion, and absolutely no one says a word about the millions of babies being killed in this sugary bubble of liberal media. No one is allowed or permitted to rebut the terrible “Sexual Revolution” that brought about the death and disease of millions of babies.
