Kanye West, who appeared on Monday’s NewsNation with Chris Cuomo, doubled down on his anti-Semitic comments regarding what he called “the Jewish undergroundmedia mafia”. But Dan Abrams, the host of his eponymous program, suggested that West’s disgusting comments, and interest in purchasing the social media company Parler, were strategic movies to “create an right-wing brand.”
Abrams started the show by asking this question:
After being removed from Instagram and Twitter for making anti-Semitic remarks, Kanye West was replaced by Ye on the right-leaning social platform Parler. Is this not more evidence that he isn’t mentally ill, but simply trying to build a right-wing brand?
“But from Kanye’s perspective, it seems he’s just double down on fringe right wing positions,” Abrams said a little later.
Abrams didn’t believe that Kanye’s recent outbursts and actions were signs of his bipolar disorder.
He said, “Now, many people have refused to take Kanye’s comments seriously, expressing sympathy with what they believe are clear signs of severe mental illness. Which I think is a cop out.” “And those who believe he is mentally ill may not be giving him enough credit for believing his statements, including his antisemitism.”
He said that it seemed too easy and protective for him to simply say that he was mentally ill. It was all part of a scheme to profit from bigotry on his right.
He wants to be a part of this market, not only financially but also politically. He wears a white life matter shirt to Paris Fashion Week and aligns himself closely with far-right extremists such as Candace Owens. These are not signs of mental illness. These are signs that someone is desperate for a high-profile, lucrative identity.

Parler, if done correctly, is a great business idea to attract conservatives who have had success with Twitter.
Abrams said, “To dismiss this gambit in some sort of madcap episode is to completely downplay the business acumen of his business acumen.” His apparel brand has been valued between 3.2 billion to 4.7 billion. He also has a deal signed with The Gap, which industry experts estimate to be worth more than a billion dollars.
Abrams ended the monologue by suggesting that those with the most power were those who believed Kanye was suffering, and not catering to the political left. “[T]his whole Kanye’s cuckoo story, maybe even more crazy than the man who’s cashing in on them.”
Fidelity and Chase sponsored these lucrative sponsorships, which allowed us to suggest that Kanye’s antisemitism appeals only to the right. You can find their contact information here.

ABRAMS: Kanye’s perspective is that he’s just increasing his support for fringe right-wing positions. People who believe he is mentally ill may not give him enough credit for believing the things he says, including his antisemitism.
It is clear that he has had mental health problems. He was actually diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016 after he received inpatient psychiatric treatment. That’s relevant. The mental health defense has echoes from the Antonio Brown saga. Many were quick to excuse the troubled NFL player’s bizarre on-field behavior and sexual assault allegations and to blame it on mental health issues, which he and his lawyer deny.
Mental illness is a serious problem in this country. It can also be used to excuse some of your responsible but deliberative behavior, which Kanye may be benefiting from.
This is clearly part and parcel of the brand. The brand may also be provocative fringe lunacy. Any arguments against him will minimize his conscious decisions. It seems too protective and easy for him to simply state that he is mentally ill. He wants to control this market, not only politically, but also financially. He wears a white life matter shirt to Paris Fashion Week and aligns himself closely with far-right extremists such as Candace Owens. These are not signs of mental illness. These are signs that someone is desperate for a high-profile, lucrative identity.
This is a completely demeaning way to downplay his business acumen. He has unquestionably proven that he is a smart businessman. His apparel brand is valued between 3.2 billion to 4.7 billion. He also has a deal signed with The Gap, which industry experts estimate to be worth more than a billion dollars.
Parler, if done correctly, is a great business idea to attract conservatives who have had it with Twitter. This is the Kanye’s cuckoo story, which may be even more bizarre than the man who’s making a buck on it.
