Mika Brzezinski spins furiously for Fetterman: “Some Might Be Surprised, What He Did”

Poor Mika Brzezinski. John Fetterman’s campaign was crashing around Democrat ears after his disastrous debate performance. The Morning Joe co-host remained strong on Thursday.

Brzezinski tried her best to help her fellow Democrat, like a rescuer digging through rubble looking for signs of life following a building’s collapse. She was unable to believe this line, but she tried her best.

“Given that the stroke occurred, some might be surprised [by] how well he did.”

If Mika knows Fetterman’s accomplishments, she must travel in very strange circles. Talk about soft bigotry and low expectations!

Fetterman was really disappointed by something Mika aired. A clip of Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D.Md.), a stroke survivor. It was likely intended to support Fetterman. It was anything but.

Mika pointed out Van Hollen’s stroke in May, the same month as Fetterman’s. The difference between them could not be more stark. Van Hollen looked completely normal and was able to control his faculties, a stark contrast to Fetterman’s apparent impairment.

Van Hollen then said something that was patently false, and it only served to rekindle the memories of Fetterman’s worst debate moment. Van Hollen claimed:

“I was happy to see him get out and put his points on the table. I don’t believe voters were looking for poetry. They simply wanted to know the positions of the candidates on a range issues. He was very clear.”

Fetterman was “very specific” about the issues? Yo, Chris! Keep this in mind!

Moderator: “You are saying tonight that fracking is something you support, and that you have always supported it, but there was that 2018 interview in which you stated, quote, “I don’t believe in fracking at any time.” So how can you reconcile the two?

Fetterman: “I do support fracking. I don’t, I don’t. I support fracking and I stand by it.

These were Mika’s closing arguments for Fetterman

“Two things could possibly be true at once.” Fetterman might have looked a little afflicted by his stroke. He can also be the candidate who does the right thing.”

Fetterman could have “appeared to” be struggling. Mika, was there any doubt? He was only struggling “a bit”. Puh-lease.

Mika gave away the secret by claiming that Fetterman is the “right thing” candidate. Translation: He’ll vote for abortion right down the line and for the radical Democrat agenda.

Mika even had enough chutzpah for the bold claim that “I think the realities here remain the same.” There are two very different options for these candidates.

So, Fetterman’s terrible performance did not change anything for Mika or other liberals. Vote abortion: vote Fetterman!

Mika Brzezinski, who was trying to defend John Fetterman after his disastrous debate performance, said that “some might have been surprised by how well they did”. GlaxoSmithKline sponsored Mika Brzezinski’s Morning Joe appearance. Abbott, the maker of Freestyle Libre, and Schwab, made Shingrix, Schwab and Chevrolet.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI – We’re going start this hour with the latest news on the Pennsylvania Senate race and some Democrats on edge following Tuesday night’s debate performance by John Fetterman, Democratic candidate. Some members of his party wonder if he should have been on stage. Others wonder if he should not have been on the ballot. NBC News spoke with several Democrats on condition of anonymity who were shocked at the extent to which he was unable to communicate clearly.

. . .

This is Senator Chris Van Hollen from Maryland, who suffered a minor stroke around the same time that Fetterman in May.

CHRIS VAN HOLLEN: I’m feeling great, I’m back 100%. I’ve been blessed. Some strokes are more difficult to recover from than others. I am very happy that John Fetterman’s doctors have confirmed his full recovery.

And I was happy to see him get out there yesterday to put his points on the table. I don’t believe voters were looking for poetry. As you stated, I believe they were just curious about the positions of the candidates on a variety of issues. He was very clear.

. . .

MIKA: It is possible to have two things at once. Fetterman might have looked a little afflicted by his stroke. He can also be, in the minds of some voters the better candidate, more honest candidate, and the candidate who will do right or make good decisions despite having to process stroke-related issues. . . These are the facts. These candidates offer two very different options.

. . .

Some might be surprised at how well he did, considering he had a stroke.
