According to Rubio’s campaign, a canvasser for Senator Marco Rubio was allegedly assaulted and severely injured while going door-to–door for Rubio’s reelection campaign. All three evening newscasts on Monday ignored the vicious attack on a Republican volunteer who was innocently motivated by politics.
Instead, ABC’s World News Tonight and CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News had ample time to report on local weather conditions, the Powerball Jackpot numbers hitting $625million, and a recall for various dry shampoo products.
Rubio posted Monday morning a tweet saying that “Last night, one of our canvassers wearing a DeSantis T-shirt and DeSantis Hat was brutally attacked”
The tweet continued to say that “He suffered internal bleeding, a fractured jaw and will need facial reconstruction surgery.”

According to The Daily Wire “Hialeah Sergeant. Jose Torres revealed that the victim, a 27-year-old unidentified woman, was struck multiple times in the head and face, causing the injuries.
Torres said that the incident began after the victim was giving out flyers and was told he was not allowed to do so. The Daily Wire reported that Javier Lopez, a 25-year old, attacked him and then beat him.
Fox News’s Jesse Watters Primetime host Jesse Watters and Dana Loesch, radio host, criticized the media for failing to report on the horrific political attack.
“Have any of you heard anything about the Republican canvasser who worked for Marco Rubio?” Because he was wearing a Rubio shirt in the wrong area, he was attacked. They don’t care. Watters spoke out about the lack of interest shown by leftist media to the story.
Watters, when he spoke to Loesch about Watters’ complaint that “this Rubio guy-he almost died” This story has never been told anywhere.
“No. Jesse, you won’t. Except here and you talking about. Because he was so badly beaten, he must have facial reconstruction surgery. Loesch said that he was targeted because he was wearing a DeSantis hat, and a Rubio shirt.
If it was a Democrat volunteer who was attacked like this by a Republican it would be a media storm and be front page news in every American newspaper.

They don’t care about the fact that crime isn’t real until it happens at their front door. Dana Loesch, a nationally syndicated radio host, joins me now. Dana, the Rubio guy was almost dead. People used to be afraid to wear red caps in public. Now, we’ll gravitate away from wearing red hats and instead opt to wear anything Republican or any Republican candidate merchandise. DeSantis hats? Good grief. That has been a problem for a while, and they want to pretend it doesn’t exist. Merrick Garland doesn’t say anything like that. President Mcunity is not known for speaking about extremism, Mega Maga politics trickle down, or whatever it may be. But there are people who really deal with this. It’s all fun, Jesse, until someone gets their jaw knocked off of their head and has it sewn on by doctors.
