Even though they spent parts of their reports blaming Republicans for attacking Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul, in the middle of Friday night, the big three evening news channels ignored the fact that the alleged attacker had been an illegal immigrant who had overstayed his visa. This key detail was not mentioned in Fox News’s Special Report.
ABC’s World News Tonight tried to cover the fact that the attacker shouldn’t have been in the country at all. Instead of covering it, they blamed Republicans and claimed that the attacker was motivated politically.
Mola Lenghi, a correspondent to ABC, opened the segment by claiming that “DePape allegedly described the Speaker as the leader of the pack of lies told by the Democratic Party.”
Lenghi continued to describe the attacker’s intentions, stating that DePape later explained that Nancy would be forced to be wheeled into Congress after she had broken Nancy’s kneecaps. This would show other members that there were consequences to their actions.
CBS Evening News correspondent Jonathan Vigliotti aired an excerpt of an unhinged segment from Face the Nation’s Margaret Brennan. She blasted Republican Congressman Tom Emmer, who posted a video to Twitter showing him at a gun range.
“Critics believe campaign messages like this one targeting Pelosi sent an aggressive message,” Vigliotti said before airing this exchange.

BRENNAN: Hashtag Fire Pelosi With a Weapon. A pink slip would be more appropriate if it was about firing her.
Vigliotti returned to California and went to Gavin Newsom, a left-wing radical California Governor, to attack Fox News host Jesse Watters because he had criticized Paul Pelosi’s drunk driving incident earlier in the summer.
I don’t believe anyone has been dehumanized as she has. I watched Jesse Watters or Fox News, say what he had to say about Paul Pelosi over the past five-six month, mocking him constantly. You can’t tell me this isn’t aiding and abetting.
NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt reported that DePape was ready to detain Speaker Pelosi and that he had told authorities he would hold Nancy hostage and speak to her.
While ABC, CBS, & NBC were busy hyping this attack to score political attacks on Republicans, Fox News correspondent Christina Coleman went to Special Report to reveal that David DePape was in the U.S. illegally, as a long-term Visa overstay.
The leftist media once again hides the most important details of a story. Although political violence is unacceptable, it is important to remember that if our nation’s immigration laws had been enforced and our legal system treated all people equally, DePape would have been sent home and Paul Pelosi would have been in jail for his drunk driving conviction.

MOLA LENGHI: Federal authorities have revealed a shocking, politically motivated hammer attack against Paul, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, that broke his skull. According to the affidavit 42-year-old David DePape told police that he was going hold Nancy hostage and then talk to her. He was going to smash her kneecaps if she lied.
DePape is alleged to have described the Speaker as the leader of the pack in describing what he claimed were lies told by Democrats. DePape later explained that Nancy’s kneecaps were broken and she would have to be wheeled into Congress, which would show other members how actions can result in consequences. DePape is now facing federal charges for assaulting a family member of a federal officer and attempted kidnapping a federal official. Authorities in San Francisco announced additional charges late today.

LESTER HOLT – The FBI has revealed new evidence tonight that it believes points to the motive behind last week’s brutal attack against Paul Pelosi. Husband of Nancy Pelosi, house speaker. Today, federal charges were brought against suspect David DePape. He is accused of assaulting a family member of a U.S. official with the intent of retaliating and attempted kidnapping a U.S. official. According to the FBI, DePape was ready to detain Speaker Pelosi and to injure him. He also told authorities that he would hold Nancy hostage and speak to her.

Authorities claim that Paul Pelosi didn’t know the suspect. They also stated that they were the only people in the house at time of the attack. However, there was no third person. Additionally, Mr. Pelosi should fully recover from his injuries.
