Keith Olbermann is a peach, a caring, tolerant liberal. Olbermann tweeted his response to The Washington Post’s article titled “Justice Alito: Leak of abortion opinion made majority “targets for assassination,” in keeping with his thoughtfulness.
The media would go insane if a right-wing personality said this about a liberal Supreme Court justice. There would be allegations of inciting violence. However, Olbermann is talking about Alito and he has been ignored and even praised.
It’s not as though Alito is exaggerating. According to The Washington Post, “He noted the fact that a man was charged in an alleged attempt at killing Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh who was part of the majority to overturn Roe.” Authorities said that the man from California was arrested near the justice’s house before the final opinion was published.
The left doesn’t care. They can use violence and threats of violence to get what they want.
If the left had any respect to our institutions, they would strongly condemn any threats to the lives Supreme Court justices, realizing it is a line they can’t cross.
