Psaki admits that Dems are ‘fearful’ about the Midterms. Mika makes a lame pitch for Fetterman.

Today’s Morning Joe featured Jen Psaki, former Biden press secretary, as the truth-teller regarding the Dems’ dire financial situation. Mika Brzezinski tried, however, to keep John Fetterman’s hopes alive with a pathetic argument.

Psaki referred to Chuck Schumer’s hot moment in which he told Biden, among other things that things are “going downhill for Dems” in Georgia. Psaki acknowledged that Dems are “fearful,” “worried,” and have “real concern” and that it’s felt worse in the last week.

Mika Brzezinski is here to save the day! She emphasized John Fetterman and supported Joy Reid’s claim that he had made yesterday to Joy Reid, despite his poor debate performance.

“By January, I will be much more successful, but Oz will still be fraud.”

It’s not true that Fetterman will be “much better by January”–or even better.

Johns Hopkins Health [emphasis is added throughout]:

“The first three months following a stroke are crucial for recovery. This is when patients will experience the greatest improvement.”

Fetterman’s stroke occurred five months ago.

Johns Hopkins also notes [emphasis on added]:

Aphasia is a medical term that describes difficulties with language use and is one of the most common long-term effects from stroke. It is the most frequent long-term effect from strokes. Patients may have trouble finding the right words or difficulty understanding others. They might also have difficulty understanding what others are saying or reading.

Everyone who watched the debate saw a textbook example.

Johns Hopkins notes:

It is difficult to predict how long it will take for a patient to recover from a stroke. What symptoms they will experience and if those symptoms will resolve over time.

Fetterman’s claim that he will be “much better by January” is a wishful thinking at best. His refusal to release his medical records makes it even more suspect. It is possible that what we saw in Fetterman’s debate is what we will get moving forward.

There was some unintentional humor. Psaki claimed that she had visited Fetterman’s hometown, Braddock, Pennsylvania where he was mayor and followed door-to–door canvassers. And–surprise!–everybody liked Fetterman! How desperate are Dems to hear good news about Fetterman? Psaki felt obliged go to his hometown to find supporters! ?

Note: Mika, in desperate need, also mentioned that Oprah Winfrey (who Mika called the person who “created Dr. Oz”) is not to be found supporting him. Mika said that Oprah was “embarrassed by Oz”. The obvious explanation is that Oprah loves Obama and is highly partisan. Oprah may have seen a money-making opportunity by promoting Dr. Oz. It’s quite another for Oprah to endorse a Republican. This was not going to happen!

Morning Joe’s Jen Psaki admitted that Democrats are “fearful” of the midterms. Mika Brzezinski supported John Fetterman’s unsubstantiated claim he will be “much more, much, better” by January. Sponsored in part by Schwab and Amazon, Subway, Dove, and Dove

JEN PSAKI : Yes, I mean, first and foremost, the hot mic will get your every time, Chuck Schumer. I’ve been there.

Let’s face it, what we heard there and what you see on the screen are very similar to a lot of the conversations Democrats are having behind closed doors. I spoke to many people as well.

Some people are worried about where the momentum is heading in these races. There are encouraging signs, such as record early-vote results. However, numbers in some House races are not as high as they should be. People are trying to get. Many people I spoke to were concerned about voters being excited about the top ticket and not enough to vote for the congressional candidates. This is a real concern.

It’s clear that Democrats are worried about the future. It’s felt worse in the last week.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI : Jen, I want to just focus in on Pennsylvania and the big picture with John Fetterman & Dr. Oz. I think that all the attention given to his stroke has distracted from a point he made in his interview yesterday. That is, he will continue to improve. Strokes can happen to anyone. Strokes are more common in the later years of life. Strokes are more common later in life. Strokes can be reversed.

Dr. Oz will remain Dr. Oz. Let’s get to the bottom of it all. Number one, he has misled his viewers on Dr. Oz. For years, he was even brought into Washington and grilled by lawmakers for his quack recipes and fixes for medical addictions–conditions , that didn’t work.

Oprah Winfrey, the person who created him: I don’t see her anywhere. Because it’s embarrassing, I don’t think she would want to be anywhere near him. Yet, the main focus is on the stroke. He really brought it home.

You went to Pennsylvania. Voters are what you’re referring to. What are they talking to voters about these candidates and their overall choices?

PSAKI: Yeah, that’s right, Mika. I was at John Fetterman’s home in Braddock last Thursday. I spent six hours following the canvassers.

. . .

This should be encouraging for the Fetterman team, especially since I was in his hometown. Everyone we spoke to, they talked with, was supportive of him. They knew who he was. They loved him.
