Let’s take a look at those Americans who are angry about the choice of public toilet they will use. And, for that matter which locker room and personal pronoun, etc. These Americans don’t believe that the choice of toilet should be a matter purely of personal hygiene. They see it as a constitutional issue that should be brought before the Supreme Court. If Joe Biden is reelected, it will likely be.
The stuff of politics has always been Lebensraum. Vladimir Putin tried to make Lebensraum the stuff in politics back in February this year to his regret. Karl Marx was the first to see politics as a result of the grumpiness and indifference of the proletariat. Others of a leftist orientation went further and based their political vision on the complaints of lumpenproletariat. Others have also based their visions of politics on the superiority or inferiority of the black or short races, as well as Napoleon Bonaparte. Only in America, however, could the left be so infantile as to base its politics around the toilet. Vladimir Lenin chose the hammer-and-sickle symbol of the Communist Party in World War I. Millions of people died for it. The symbol of the American left today is a solitary, or perhaps a hillside, toilet. Flushing their toilets emphatically will be a revolutionary act.
We created a bumper sticker many years ago for The American Spectator that simply stated “Nuke the Whales.” Now, I can see the day when the American Left will proudly proclaim, in all solemnity, that they have “Nuke the Whales.”
Peregrine Worsthorne, a British journalist, claimed that communism wasn’t the most dangerous form of politics. Neither was fascism or Nazism the most dangerous form of politics. Liberalism was, according to him, the most poisonous form. At first, I was skeptical of his assertion. But, after seeing liberalism develop over the past years, I have come around to agreeing with Peregrine Worsthorne. Communism and Nazism are evil but there are certain areas in life where they will not venture. Liberalism is not allowed to venture into any area of life, private or public, including the realms of sexual identity and the sexual identity of our children. Liberalism ends in ruin wherever it ventures.
Who would have thought something so stupid as wokeism could take over the great cities in our country, our education system, and even our toilets?
The years ahead will be challenging. But I am confident that great men or women can come together to unclog this bathroom.
