Shanghai’s Disney Resort abruptly stopped operations Monday to comply to Covid-19 prevention measures. All visitors at the time were directed to remain in the park until they have returned a negative test for the virus.
The resort stated that at 11:39 AM local time (03:39 GMT), it would immediately close the main theme park and its surrounding areas, including its shopping street, until further notice to comply virus curbs.
According to the Shanghai government, the park was closed to entry and exit. All visitors must wait for the results of the tests before they can leave.
