I look forward to January because a Republican majority in Congress will control at least one House of Congress, slowing down the destruction of our national well-being. President Biden is optimistic because the destructive and wasteful provisions of the Democrats’ Inflation Reduction Act will be in effect. Try to follow the “thoughts” that he struggled yesterday.
We are making real progress. We made some significant progress in January, thanks to the passage of this important legislation — whether it be dealing with the environment, or dealing with dealing.
For example, the envi- legislation passed $368 billion to address global warming. Guess what? It’s estimated that this will save just — what people have to do to their homes to weatherize their homes, solar panels — and a whole host of other things. It is estimated that it will save the average American family at least $500 per year. It will also save the environment.
