ice Department to Monitor 64 Voting Jurisdictions In 24 States //

After President Joe Biden attacked state electoral reforms and stated, ” democracy has been on the ballot,” the Justice Department of his administration announced Monday that it would send election observers to 24 states.

These include Georgia and Texas, Arizona, Florida, and other states that have implemented election integrity measures Biden, and other Democrats, have called “Jim Crow 2.0”

“The Justice Department today announced its plans to monitor compliance in 64 jurisdictions in 24 States with federal voting rights laws for the Nov. 8th, 2022 general election. The Civil Rights Division has been monitoring elections in the field in all 50 states since 1965, when the Voting Rights Act was passed. This has helped to protect voters’ rights,” the Justice Department stated in a Monday press release. “The Civil Rights Division will accept complaints from the public about possible violations of federal voting rights laws via its call center.”

The DOJ also monitors Alaska, California and Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota. Missouri, New Jersey. New Mexico. Rhode Island. South Carolina. Utah. Virginia.

The Justice Department filed lawsuits against Arizona, Georgia, and Texas in 2021 alleging that their new election reform laws would lead voter suppression. Recently, the department has refused to release its strategic plan to implement a Biden executive orders to increase voter participation.

Arizona’s Justice Department monitors will be located in Maricopa County and Navajo County as well as Pima County and Pinal County.

Georgia’s Justice Department monitors will be located in Cobb County, Fulton County, and Gwinnett County.

Texas’ Justice Department monitors will be located in Dallas County and Harris County.
