News Voter Analysis: Republicans make significant gains with Hispanic voters
According to Fox News Voter Analysis, Hispanic voters made a significant shift away from Democratic candidates in the midterm elections compared to 2020.
Fox News Voter Analysis election poll showed that 56% Hispanic voters voted for Democratic candidate in the congressional district they reside in. This is an 18-point difference to the 38% who voted for a Republican. A 28-point difference was seen between the 63% of Hispanic voters who voted for President Biden and the 35% who voted in favor of former President Donald Trump.
Many of the movement was seen among Hispanic men, who voted for Democratic candidates by a margin between 51% and 44%. This was a significant shift from 2020, when 59% of Hispanic men voted in favor of Biden, compared to 38% who backed Trump.
Hispanic women also shifted their support towards Republicans, voting for Democratic candidates by a 26 point margin of 60% to 34% in midterm elections. The same demographic voted for Biden 34 points to 66%.

“I think this could be a paradigm-shifting election, where Republicans not only are making inroads in Latino voting but they’re also making inroads in African-American voting,” John Anzalone, a former top pollster in Biden’s campaign, told The Wall Street Journal before the election.
Chuck Rocha, a Democratic strategist, said to NPR last month that Democrats are losing a little support to Republicans.

He said that the Republican party used to not compete for the vote. “Until eight years ago, Republicans would simply walk past a Latino neighborhood. They wouldn’t even consider trying to make a Spanish-language advertisement.
Although it is not clear which issues have influenced the shift, Republicans have prioritized economic issues such as inflation, border security, and crime.
Democrats, on the contrary, have largely campaigned for abortion and protecting democracy.

Biden said last week that American democracy was under attack because the former defeated President of the United States refuses the results of the 2020 election. He refuses to accept that the people will decide. He refuses to accept that he has lost.
