crat Frank Mrvan expected to defeat Republican Jennifer-Ruth Green for the Indiana House Race // According to The Associated Press, Frank Mrvan, the incumbent Democratic Representative, has defeated Jennifer-Ruth Green, his GOP challenger in the race for Indiana’s 1stCongressional District. The race between the two candidates saw Green, a veteran from the U.S. Air Force, facing Mrvan, a Democrat who formerly represented the district in Congress as the North Township Trustee. The Congressional Black Caucus endorsed Mrvan (who is White) over Green. This caused a lot of controversy. Green stated that the hypocrisy of this decision was so clear during an October appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight. “We see that this is about power and policy. This is about the process. Green spoke out about the release by Politico in an interview that he did with Fox News Digital on October. Green, whose 20-year career in the U.S. military includes clear interaction and engagement, accused Politico of publishing the story “despite having clear interactions and engagement and telling them the records were illegally obtained.” Green claimed that Wren did not get the full story and took her experience and reduced it to a point where he could just say a clinical account of what had happened. Mrvan was also attacked by the Republican candidate over the Politico story. He claimed that he had illegally obtained the documents and was circulating them to the press. In the third quarter of fundraising, Green was more successful than Mrvan, with just under $1.4million compared to Mrvan’s almost $936,000. Mrvan had nearly $936,000. Green had $908,000, while Mrvan had $391,000.
