During a Wednesday press conference, President Biden mocked the idea that former President Trump’s political movements are still strong.
Biden laughed when a reporter asked him how he could assure G-7 leaders Trump would not be elected again. The reporter had commented on Trump’s influence.
“So, how do you assure them, if they are asking, that the former president won’t return, and that his political movement which is still very powerful will yet again take control in the United States?” The reporter asked.
Biden laughed at the reporter’s characterization and said, “Oh, yeah?”

Biden stated, “Well, we just need to show that he won’t take power if and when he runs, making sure that he, under legitimate attempts of our Constitution, doesn’t become the next president again.”
