H: Kari lake is ‘100% certain’ she will be the next governor of Arizona EXCLUSIVE – Republican Arizona gubernatorial hopeful Kari Lake doesn’t shy away from talking about her feelings on how the race between herself and Democrat Katie Hobbs will play out, as ballots continue being counted across the state just two days after Election Day. “I am 100% going win. “I have absolute 100% confidence that i will be the next governor in Arizona,” Lake said to Fox News Digital on Thursday. She also gave a preview of what she sees as the future for the Republican Party after the disappointing House and Senate elections . “I think that the Republican Party should continue with America first policies as we are with solutions and common sense solutions,” she stated before listing prominent Republicans she believed might lead the party into its future, including South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Lake stated that former President Donald Trump was her first choice for the presidency in 2024, and that he was “still leading” the party. Arizona election law requires that mail-in ballots be received by county officials by 7:00 p.m. on election night. However, each of the ballots must go through a signature-verification process before actually being counted. This is the biggest factor in the delay in the state’s election results. It is amplified by Maricopa County’s large voting jurisdiction with hundreds of thousands of returned mail-in ballots.
