As we expected, the AP just called Republican Rep. Mike Garcia’s difficult race against Christy Smith in California’s Twenty-Seventh Congressional District. The race for Garcia was called by the AP (in a “Democratic leaning district,” according to the AP. Yesterday, the LA Times reported Smith had been complaining about the lack of party support on Twitter. Garcia’s election flips Congress by putting the Republicans in the majority. Let’s resist!
