The Iranian regime is one the most evil in the world, yet it is still treated with child gloves. This Reuters story from November 16 caught my attention. Michael Holden reports live from London
According to the head of Britain’s domestic spy agency, Iran’s intelligence services made at least 10 attempts in recent years to kidnap and even kill British nationals.
Ken McCallum, the Director General of the Security Service, known as MI5, stated that while Tehran used violence to silence critics, its “aggressive Intelligence Services” were also projecting threat to Britain directly.
What can be done? It is likely that there is more to it than this: “Last Week, British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly stated that he summoned Tehran’s most senior diplomat in protest at alleged threats made by Iranian security forces against journalists in Britain.”
We salute the courageous protesters who took to the streets of Iran after “the death of a 22 year-old woman in custody of the morality cop,” as Reuters drily stated.
Yesterday, protesters were back at work. According to the Jerusalem Post story, the video below shows the torching the “Khomeini House Museum”, once the home of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic and first Supreme Leader. Iran International shared the video that showed protesters setting fire to the museum. One Twitter user commented on the video: “I wonder what kind of merch they sold at the gift shop ….”.” The Jerusalem Post added: “Shortly following the arson attack on the site, according a video originally published in 1500 Tasvir,” (video embedded in the linked story).
