I was expecting it to be past its prime but the depth and complexity of the wine surprised me, which suggests that it might have some staying power. Take what you want from it.
We also reflected on our recent trip to Italy and offered some final post-mortems about the mid-term elections aimed at discrediting popular media themes about why the unexpected result was achieved, and why the FTX scandal illustrates aspects of contemporary liberalism that are missing from the breathless media accounts.
We then examine the significance and meaning of the decision by several elite law schools not to participate in the U.S. rankings games. News and World Report, although there is a lot of disagreement about academic rankings.
