ABC/CBS/NBC ignore Biden’s latest embarrassing gaffes, Signs of Cognitive Decline

The major broadcast networks (NBC, CBS, and ABC) refused to include among the latest set of lies and gaffes and examples of mental decline by President Biden during their extensive midterms coverage. Despite the fact that each network ran Biden soundbites about the events, this was despite the fact they all carried the same errors on their newscasts.

Biden made the following statement about Debbie Wasserman Schultz, former DNC chair, at an official White House event: “I don’t have a better friend in the United States Senate.”

Fact Check #1: Wasserman Schultz does indeed belong to Congress. However, she is in the House and not the Senate.

Biden also stated this at the same time about inflation

Due to the war in Iraq, the impact on oil, and Russia’s actions, inflation is a global problem. Excuse me, the war on Ukraine. And — I’m thinking about Iraq because that’s where he died. Because he died. But the point is, it’s because it’s up. We have the lowest rate of inflation of any major country in the globe.

Two lies were told here, and one was corrected by him.

Fact check #2: The unprovoked war by Russia against Ukraine has not caused inflation to grip the country. It was already on the verge of a rapid rise long before that.

Fact check #3: Beau Biden didn’t die in Iraq. In fact, he was only in Iraq for a year in 2009. Biden noted, embarrassingly at the beginning of his speech, that his son had only been in Iraq for a year. He thanked a Florida senior who made his opening remarks about prescription drug prices. Beau returned home after a year and lived until his death from brain cancer in May 2015.

Fourth, Biden stated this about meeting the inventor of insulin: “[I]t wasn’t patented because he wanted it to be available for everyone. Okay? Guess what? It only cost 10 dollars to make. It cost 10 dollars to make. You can make it up to $15 if you include packaging and all other costs.

Fact-check #4: Biden did not actually meet Frederick Banting, the inventor. Why? Banting died in February 1941, well over a year before Biden was born on December 20, 1942.

Biden’s fifth lie of today was about Senator Rick Scott (R.FL). While sounding like Newsmax’s Katrina Szish, it sounded like a Foghorn leghorn impression (click “expand”)

The idea that a senator from Florida wants Social Security and Medicare cuts — and they don’t have just — they don’t have to just — but they can cut it, and they can change it basically. Is a senator from Florida trying to cut Medicare and Social Security? I’m not sure. As they say in Southern Delaware, “I don’t know where you’ve been.” Hot damn, boy.”

Fact-check #5 : Scott has not proposed it and has denounced this ongoing leftist talk point on Sunday morning’s CNN’s State of the Union.

Biden also said this at an evening rally to support Florida Democrats: “I am a big fan HBCUs. [APPLAUSE] Delaware State University was where I started my career. It’s quite good, man.

Fact-check #6 – Biden attended Syracuse University in New York and the University of Delaware in Newark for law school. Not Delaware State University in Dover.

Instead, all networks ran soundbites from Biden’s day of lies (click to expand)

ABC’s JANAI NORMAN [from ABC’s Good Morning America]: President Biden himself hitting the trail, sounding the alarm in former President Trump’s home state that a Republican-controlled Congress could have dire consequences.

BIDEN: They are pursuing Medicare and Social Security in a major way. This is what you need to know, Florida residents.

(….)

BIDEN [from CBS Mornings’s “Eye Opener]]: You’ve heard me say it before. We’re at an inflection stage in history.

(….)

BIDEN [from CBS Mornings] Democracy is on the ballot in this year’s election.

CBS’s ROBERT COSTA (from CBS Mornings): President Joe Biden in Florida, where Democrats face a difficult task against GOP incumbents.

BIDEN [from CBS Mornings] — An economy that works to everyone — [SCREEN WIPE] — This is compared with MAGA — mega MAGA. I call them — trickle-down economics offered by Republicans these days.

(….)

BIDEN [from NBC’s Today]: Inflation has become a global problem. [SCREEN WIPE] We have done a lot in trying to control it.

(….)

NBC’s KRISTEN WALKER [from NBC’s Today]: In Florida, Democratic Senate nominee Val Demings is trailing Charlie Crist, the nominee for governor. His job approval ratings are low, so President Biden is campaigning for Demings, Christ, and pointing out the nearly 300 GOP candidates who have questioned or denied the results of the 2020 election as part of his closing argument about threats against democracy.

PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN [from NBC’s Today]: Democracy is on this year’s ballot.

(….)

BIDEN [from CBS Evening News with Norah Ol’Donnell]: Folks this ain’t your father’s Republican Party. This cat is a completely different breed.

NANCY COORDDES BIDEN [from CBS Evening News with Norah Ol’Donnell]: A preview of his message today was delivered in Florida last night.

BIDEN [from CBS Evening News with Norah Ol’Donnell]: They want your vote.
