We don’t have Mainstream Media. We have a Meathead Media.
Rob Reiner, actor and director, captured the paranoid style used by the press when he summarized the most recent nationally televised Republican-smearing speech of our president.
President Biden could not have been more clear. These midterms will decide whether we want to keep our 246-year-old Democratic experiment in self-rule or surrender to the Tyranny of Fascism.

This type of deranged speech should be considered conventional wisdom. Everyone should understand that the Republicans are the Tyranny Of Fascism Party and you should feel compelled vote for the Democrat Party.
Our president declares that democracy is on the ballot. This heavily implies that voting against his wishes is voting to end the American experiment. It would be a vote to support autocracy or monarchy. Democrats can’t see that this has the echoes monarchy or autocracy. They tell voters that they don’t have any actual choices on the ballot. It should be a single-party state or democracy dies.
They want to run the country in the same way that they ran the House January 6 Committee. There are two legitimate political parties: the Democrats and the CheneyKinzinger Republicans. Both parties are deeply committed to the belief in the dismantling of the Republican Party.
This argument has been presented by the press in a very undemocratic manner. The committee’s hearings and rulings are not worthy of being questioned. The committee should not be viewed as a partisan enterprise, even though it is obvious that Democrats believe January 6th is the best partisan argument they have in these midterms.
The Democrats and their repeaters within the press don’t want the Cheney/Kinzinger Republicans succeed. You can see how Cheney and Kinzinger will not be in the House 2023 and how the Democrats cynically supported the “extreme MAGA Republicans”, as Biden calls them, in primary contests against Republicans who voted for impeaching Trump over January 6. Four of the ten Republicans who voted to impeach were retired, while four others were defeated in primaries. Only two of the candidates are on the ballot.
One of them is Rep. David Valadao from California. Before his June primary, Democrats spent $110,000 to run ads criticizing his impending impeachment vote. Now a Democrat PAC called the Voter Protection Project has created a website, traitordavidvaladao.com, calling Mr. Valadao “A Traitor Who Turned His Back On President Trump To Serve His Own Interests.”
This project claims to hold Republicans accountable for their attacks at the ballot box. But it’s not about accountability. It’s about putting every Republican in the Tyranny of Fascism Box, regardless of their actual votes or beliefs. Any Republican who seeks approval from the press should be thrown out.
Biden’s latest speech against GOP Tyranny was broadcast live by CNN. Erin Burnett, then host, switched to a CNN repeater and then to a panel consisting of three liberals, and a Cheney Kinzinger Republican. Joy Reid reacted to the live coverage on MSNBC and called Biden’s speech beautiful. Rep. Jamie Raskin also celebrated, calling it “beautiful” and saying that there was no need for “fact-checking” or opposing views.
Matthew Dowd, an ex-Republican, attacked the media for their alleged objectivity in scanning polls and trying to predict who will win. He compared Republicans with a devastating hurricane and said that the media is like a weatherman saying, “Oh, by the way! A hurricane is gonna hit within three days.” Good night, and I’m not going to tell you how much damage it’s gonna cause, but what you can do about it.
This is the Meathead Media’s deranged sound, tilting everything in Biden’s favor-for-us/else “democracy.”
