GOTCHA! GOTCHA!

Twitter CEO Elon Musk proposed a new feature that allows users to verify their accounts for $8 per month. Although this plan is good, some are using it for malicious purposes.

One user created a Twitter account that looked exactly like the one belonging LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers forward. It even had the blue checkmark. The tweet was created by an unidentified user. It appeared that James was asking for a trade with the Lakers to return to his hometown Cavaliers.

It didn’t take too long, lol

Twitter quickly deleted the tweet and banned it almost immediately.

Although it’s funny that someone made this headline to stir up controversy, it’s not impossible that this could happen. LeBron has the ability to do anything in the NBA. Given that the Lakers have a 2-9 record and are last in Pacific Division, he could decide that he wants to leave the Lakers’ dumpster fire and move somewhere else.
