The 2022 midterm election was a perfect excuse for Leftist Axios to increase online censorship and screeching about “post-Election Day” disinformation.
As 2022 races are being finalized, election irregularities such as paper shortages, mass machine malfunctions, and voter suppression are already causing controversy. But Axios has a “solution”–censorship.
Axios’s one example of “violence,” according to Axios, was the Jan. 6-2021 events. The outlet also attacked Twitter for allowing more “disinformation” under its new CEO Elon Musk. It seems that Axios’s reporting targeted Republicans. There is no mention of Democrats like Stacey Abrams, the Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee. Abrams spent years calling Republican electoral victories “illegitimate.”
Axios complained that “election deniers” could weaken “trust” and incite violence.
Axios referred to the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) “Rumor Control Site” as one of its trusted sources. “State and local election officials provide the best information about election administration and results, as officials count ballots.”
Hey Axios! Where does critical thinking fit in here?
A federal lawsuit alleges that the Biden administration conspired with Big Tech in order to censor Americans online during COVID-19. Axios boasted even about election officials’ efforts “pre-bunking” election-related “lies,” similar in style to the progressive UN’s #ThinkBeforSharing campaign.
Can Americans trust the government to be honest?
