Meghan McCain addressed Sunny Hostin in her Daily Mail column on Election Day. Sunny characterized white women voting to support Republicans as “roaches voting to Raid”, a term that means they are voting for their own death.
McCain said that soccer moms were once a prized constituency. “Back then, they weren’t dismissed as borderline racism or rabidpartisans.” They voted for what was best for their families. The Enemy was born when white women failed to lift Hillary Clinton to victory in 2016.
It was made clear in a New York Times Magazine article from last year. If you are a white woman, you’re likely a ‘Karen.
It read, “Widen the Lens and any white woman — all white women — could be a Karen if she’s perceived to take for granted the benefits bestowed by her skin colour and ignore the labor and suffering others,”
Next, fast-forward to the present day.
Recent polling has shown a remarkable swing in suburban white women towards the Republican party. We’ve heard women called ‘roaches’ or ‘Nazis’ because they value their best judgment over the orders of Democrats, and liberal media.
It’s the revenge of ‘Karens,’ and can you really blame them for it?
Liberals shouldn’t be surprised to hear that insulting voters is not the best way to close a conversation.
Liberal women believe that every woman should be able to vote on “women’s issues” and other liberal issues. McCain was rebuffed:
Today, if your concern is the economy, rising crime, and education of your children, you are vilified. Just because we were born with female anatomy doesn’t mean we don’t care about the country’s wellbeing, education, and foreign policy.
You want to feel safe in your home? This is not a privilege talking. This is not only offensive. It is wildly different from the real world.
My close friends have seen a drastic shift in their lives since President Biden became president. They have been hurt by the harsh realities of how much less they can buy at the gas station and grocery store in 2022 than 2020, despite the fact that their husbands work.
These women are not stupid. They are not content to condemn their gender to a dystopian hellscape from The Handmaid’s Tale.
They are afraid and desperate. They want things to change. They feel that the Democrats aren’t listening in many cases.
This column demonstrates what The View is missing when it comes to serious dissent.
A large percentage of soccer moms/Karens will be pulling the lever in support of the GOP.
Shaming women for their social faults and for caring for their families is the most destructive and toxic political strategy in modern times.
We are not soccer moms.
We are not Karens.
We are women — today, let us roar.
