Saturday Night Live is supposed be funny, I get that. It’s just not.
SNL’s weekly episode for November 5 was released. Cecily Strong, a cast member, urged voters to vote in favor of abortion during this year’s mid-term elections.
Strong’s character, “Tammy The Trucker”, was named after Strong. She sat next to her co-star Colin Jost. Based on their sarcastic tone, and unfeeling rhetoric, it seems that they think abortion is not a big deal.

Jost introduced Tammy the Trucker, who was a news anchor who interviewed Tammy Trucker.
“Here to comment: Tammy Trucker, who promises she’s here for gas prices and certainly not abortion,” he said.
“Trucker” began by discussing gas prices, but quickly switched to her pro-abort talking points.
“All I want to talk about is gas, even though Roe v. Wade was sent by the Supreme Court to that big pit stop in space. Yeah! Beep Beep! 50 years of precedent. Beep beep, she started.
Safe access to abortion will continue to disappear. It’s not magic, ’cause they told them that’s exactly what she’s going to do and they have been doing so,” she yelled into her CB radio.
The skit’s premise was to pretend Tammy was a truck driver who was worried about rising gas prices, but Tammy actually complained about abortion.
These are frightening times, okay? Because they don’t want just to take away access to healthcare. They want to criminalize it. It’s so bad that truck drivers are all out there warning each other to delete their period tracking apps from their phones. I don’t care if Texas d***heads think my period is evidence that I have committed a crime, I just want to know which week I should wear my poor underwear.
Scary times? What about the frightening times a child experiences when his or her body is torn apart, one limb at time?
Tammy finished her closing lines.
We can do one thing as mother-truckers to ensure that we have the right to make our own decisions about health-care. That’s voting. I hope everyone votes. Remember, we all love someone who has had an abortion. I’m referring to someone who drives a truck. Beep! Beep!
Many of us likely know or love someone who has had an abortion. However, this doesn’t mean we should accept or agree that it’s good just because someone has done it. Many people love someone who is suffering from alcoholism. However, that doesn’t mean we should accept it as a good thing or become alcoholics ourselves. The same applies to people who have had affairs. People who have had an abortion can and should be loved. However, we must love them despite their sin. We are not implying that their sin is acceptable.
This isn’t the first time SNL has promoted the abortion narrative on its show. Strong, who was 23 years old at the time, dressed up as a clown to discuss her own abortion. SNL believes killing unborn babies should be a joke, both last year and this.
Unfortunately, this is the reality of the left. They have made abortion so common that people are no longer able to recognize the reality of it. Evil acts like these will continue to happen until people can see the brutal reality of abortion.
