NPR reported that a Federal Court confirmed that the Miss United States of America pageant can allow only natural-born females to participate in its beauty pageant. This shouldn’t have been debated.
The decision stated that Miss USA America would have to accept fake females into the competition if they were forced to do so.
The ruling was made public for the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals released the ruling Wednesday in a case brought by Anita Green, a transgender “girl” who was rejected by the pageant for the competition.
DailyMail UK reported that Green sued Miss United States of America LLC in Oregon in 2019 under the state’s anti-discrimination laws.
The competition’s objectives were clearly stated by pageant lawyers. Daily Mail reported that lawyers for the pageant stated that the contest was intended to celebrate and encourage ‘natural-born women’ by sending a message about ‘biological feminine empowerment’.
As it should, the court agreed that it was upto the company to decide what views it had on womenhood and who it will allow to compete.
It still baffles me that there is so much debate about who is a woman.

Beauty pageants, like theater, cinema, and the Super Bowl halftime show combine speech with live performances like music and dancing to convey a message.
Although the message may differ from one pageant to the next, it is generally understood that beauty pageants are designed to reflect the ideal image of American womanhood.
To force a pageant to include a transgender contestant in it would be ‘compelled speech’, a violation of Article 1.
According to the attorney representing the pageant, forcing it to include transgender women in the competition would force it to “express something contrary to what it wishes to express”, ie actual womanhood.
People should be more like the people who run these pageants and stick to what they believe in so that crazies such as the mob of attention-seeking transgenders don’t continue to corrupt our nation.
