The View Claims Voters Do Not Care About Inflation. GOP Should Listen

Despite the fact that GOP victories in midterms were limited by poor-quality candidates, Republicans were set for control of the House and could still win the Senate. The View cast on ABC lecturing Republicans about their victory and suggesting that Americans don’t care about inflation, while they complain about not having a “supermajority”

Whoopi Goldberg, co-host, optimistically stated that this segment could mark the beginning of a new era where American politics can actually return to the job of looking out for our country. All of us together.

She suggested that it was too early to declare the GOP winning and gave them lessons to learn.

The GOP can still – they are set to take control of the House, supposedly. Although it’s too early to celebrate, I think it’s still a good idea. However, the feeling people got from the GOP made me feel like the GOP was saying, “Uh-oh.” Instead of telling people what we were doing, we should have paid more attention to what they wanted.

Joy Behar held up a copy the New York Post and declared, “And stop worshipping the shrine of Trumpty Dumpty,” The cover stated, “Don (who couldn’t build a wall), had a great fall – can all the GOP’s men put the party together again?”

Following up Behar’s praise, Sunny Hostin, a racist, praised President Biden for not speaking about “crime inflation and immigration” as these were not real issues but “Republican talking points.”

Hostin claimed that none of these were top issues for Americans, citing unspecified exit polls. “[Biden] was able to sense the needs of the American people and explained that saving democracy was the number one issue. He also mentioned women’s rights in health care.

It was a BIG LIE that inflation and the economy were not top concerns for Americans. Even liberal outlets admit that inflation is the biggest concern. CNN reported Wednesday that “[s]oaring costs were top of mind for voters during this year’s midterm election… Nearly three quarters of voters stated that inflation was the most important issue in deciding how to vote for House candidates.” More than 7 out 10 of them chose Republicans.

Behar continued her elitist complaint that American voters were not acting in their best interests a short time later. “[O]n one hand, you have the party that tries save health care, that attempts to save your right of vote… that tries save the planet, and we still don’t have a supermajority?” She yelled.

She reprimanded Americans, saying “There is still half this country isn’t paying attention to its own needs.”

This dishonest lecture about the importance of Americans was possible thanks to lucrative sponsorships from Oral-B and Pfizer. They are linked.

WHOOPI GOLDBERG : This could be the beginning a new era where American politics can actually get back to the job of looking after the country. All of us together. Do you know?

[Applause]

The GOP, you know that the GOP can still – they are set to take control of the House supposedly. Although it’s too early to celebrate, I think the feeling people got was something the GOP felt like saying, “uh-oh.” Instead of telling people what we were doing, we should have paid more attention to what they wanted.

JOY BEHAR: Stop worshipping at Trumpty Dumpty’s shrine! [Holds up a copy the New York Post]

SUNNY HOSTIN – I think what was amazing was the turnout by young people.

SARA HAINES: Yes.

BEHAR: Yeah.

HOSTIN: The Democratic House candidates were voted for 63 percent of the times by the age group 18-29.

[Applause]

This is a significant accomplishment. However, I think what’s even more significant is that Biden was criticised for not talking about crime and inflation. These are Republican talking points. He was able to gauge the needs of the average American and explained that democracy was at risk. If you look at exit polls, the top two issues are saving democracy and women’s rights in health care.

BEHAR: I don’t want Debbie Downer, but –

HAINES: Whoa. Here she is.

BEHAR: But, you know, on one hand, there is a party that wants to save health care, to protect your right to vote, to preserve your – a women’s right, to save the environment, and we still don’t have a supermajority! Half of this country still doesn’t pay attention to their needs!
