College or university and professional sports clubs in the past half decade have inked a lot of things that blatantly disrespect our nation’s military. Luckily, with Veteran’s Day springing up next week, UConn’s football staff has chosen to do something different.
Typically the Huskies will be wearing a specific uniform that will honor individuals who have served in our armed forces. In a given time in which multiple college clubs have unveiled special gears for certain games, this one is probably the best and most inspiring.

Our nation’s military constantly deserves respect, no matter what well known media or progressive-friendly sporting activities teams may try to talk. UConn taking steps to demonstrate that level of respect and also a certain amount of pride in the us as a whole is heartwarming to determine.
