Violence against pro-life groups occurs 22x more than that of pro-abort, media doesn’t care

The media is doing it all wrong.

The Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC), confirmed that 135 attacks were made against pro-life groups between May and September 2022, while only six were made against abortion groups. Although there are 22 times more attacks on pro-life groups that on pro-abort, the group found that the media still portrays life-affirming people as the antagonists.

There have been many attacks on pro-life groups since the Dobbs/v. Jackson opinion draft was released in May. Pro-life groups are under constant threat, whether it’s by setting fire to pregnancy centers, destroying churches windows, adding obscenities or threatening graffiti messages on sidewalks, throwing red paint on the exterior of life-affirming organisations, or even bombing them.

“The bottom line is that there was more violence directed against prolife groups after the Dobbs decision was revealed than against pro-choice organisations,” CPRC stated. The 22-times estimate will underestimate relative violence against these groups if the media is less likely than pro-life groups to be covered,” CPRC stated in its study.

The group is correct. The media rarely covers pro-life groups, but gives it top priority when they feel “threatened.” Here’s a list of headlines CPRC included in its study from pro-abort left.

“Abortion Clinic Escorts” Say Work is a ‘War Zone’

Media portray abortion activists as victims, when they are actually the ones facilitating the most violence — that done innocent babies.

One pro-lifer was taken into custody in front of his children and wife for simply stopping a proabortionist harassing his 12-year old son, despite the fact that the abortion activist was the one causing trouble.

Our current administration allows extreme biases against pro-life groups. The U.S. Department of Justice has a detailed list of all instances when “Reproductive Health Care Providers” were attacked, but it doesn’t have a list of when these centers were.

Life News asked Dr. John Lott (President and Founder of CPRC) about bias in the media. He replied as such.

Media coverage is dominated by the narrative that those on the right are responsible most of the politically motivated violence in America. The media has accepted without questioning pro-choice violence claims, and not asked for a list.

This bias is obvious and the media don’t care less.
