To recover from the flu virus that has infected me, I will need to take a few days off work. I will make it through. I hope to be back Saturday and Sunday. If not, I will be taking a few more sick days unpaid. More importantly, I want to have something to share about the news of each day.
It might have been Covid, and I could put my brain fog down to that. But it isn’t. It is a variant of the old-fashioned bug, which I have managed to avoid since 1972. I am at the forefront of the “return to flu” process.
