I know you are weighing up whether to run for president again with your family. I am speaking from outside your family and want to share some thoughts with you.

You were more than Ronald Reagan when you were sworn into office. The job keeps you “young”. You are an inspiration for nursing home residents across the United States. You make 80 look like Jimmy Carter’s age. Go for it!

Your history is not popular so it’s great that you have developed effective rhetoric to discredit your opponents. This is great stuff. Your advisers will be able to find out more about where that came.

It’s a good thing that you sought the guidance of your family. Dr. Jill has committed to keeping you on the right path, literally, as you try to leave the stage for your speaking appearances.

Hunter believes you owe him a duty to continue in office until the statutes have expired on any offenses with which he may be charged. He is the smartest person you have ever met. After all he has done, I know you won’t let him down.

If I may borrow a phrase, you’re just that type of “Big Guy”. As we used to say, the personal is the political. You would have been smart enough to not get caught!

I am certain that your speechwriters and advisers have compared your goals and achievements to Franklin Roosevelt. I understand that your life expectancy at 80 is 7.0 years. If I’m correct, you would be 86 by the end of your second term. This would be a close call. If things don’t go according to plan, you can be the first president to pass away in office of natural causes, which would put an end to the FDR-Biden thing. It’s the upside to the downside.

FDR was able to replace Harry Truman as President before he ran for his fourth term. Before you make your final decision, you might want to spend some time searching for a Trumanesque figure within your party to be your 2024 running buddy. You can use the Jack Benny Line “I’m thinking about it over” if the worst happens.
