not for you // (Scott Johnson).

I liked Elon Musk’s mockery and disrespect for Anthony Fauci, the public health disaster ball, in the tweet below. It was therefore my “Thoughts of the Day” that I served via Twitter’s embed function Monday.

Rudy Gobert, Minnesota Timberwolves center, is one of more than 1,000,000 people who “liked” Musk’s tweet, Twitter style, clicking Twitter’s “like” function. Then, something happened. Gobert had to apologize for liking Musk’s tweet.

The Star Tribune published Gobert’s apology in the newspaper’s longest sports story. Chris Hine, Star Tribune Timberwolves reporter, met with Gobert to discuss the garishly headlined Rudy Gobert’s apology for liking a transphobic tweet by Elon Musk mocking personal pronouns. Dr. Anthony Fauci was also mentioned in the . (“The center liked the tweet from the CEO and Twitter owner that contained transphobic language and targeted Fauci”)

Gobert quickly learned how the obligatory platitudes to support trans madness after “liking” Musk’s tweet. He regrets that he “liked it.” Hine’s story is enriched by Gobert’s interview. The Star Tribune is unable to comment on the story for some reason.

In a costly trade, the Timberwolves placed their trust in Gobert’s future. He has been an underperforming player for another underperforming Timberwolves team.

Glen Taylor is still the sole owner of the Timberwolves this year. Since 2014, he has been the Star Tribune’s owner. Taylor is known for his tolerance for mediocrity. He owes his fans and readers as many “likes” as Musk’s tweet, even if he has to apologise.
