The establishment campaign to stigmatize people who don’t get vaccinated against covid has reached absurd proportions. this study was published in the American Journal of Medicine. According to this study, people who have not been vaccinated are more likely than others to be involved in traffic accidents. I’m not lying:

Coronavirus disease (COVID), vaccine hesitancy can be a sign of psychological issues that may also contribute to traffic safety. We tested whether COVID vaccination was linked to traffic crashes.

For more information, you can read the entire article. The study’s authors attribute the higher accident rate among unvaccinated people to character defects.

[O]ur data don’t explore possible causes of vaccine hesitancy and risky driving. One possibility is a distrust in government or belief that freedom contributes to both vaccine preferences and increased traffic risk.

It is dangerous to believe in freedom!

Another explanation could be misinterpretations of everyday risks, faith and protection, antipathy towards regulation, chronic poverty, misinformation exposure…

Misinformation about car accidents? This is absurd.

…insufficient resources or other personal beliefs. Other factors include political identity, past negative experiences, limited health literacy or social networks that can lead to misgivings about public health guidelines.

According to the authors, their study supports financial discrimination against unvaccinated people.

Paramedics, emergency personnel, and other first responders need to be aware of the fact that unvaccinated patients are often involved in traffic accidents. These risks may also justify future changes to driver insurance policies. All of these findings suggest that adults who are not vaccinated should be cautious when they are indoors and outdoors with traffic.

The study begins with 11,270,763 Ontario residents, 84% of whom are vaccinated, and 16% who are not. The study then analyzes 6,682 traffic accidents that required emergency medical attention. My rough math shows that 0.00059 people were involved in a collision out of Ontario’s total population. Unvaccinated people were, supposedly, more likely to be involved in a crash than those who had been vaxxed.

According to the study, the unvaccinated were more likely than drivers to be involved in accidents when they were passengers. They were even more likely to be involved in crashes when they were pedestrians! It is difficult to attribute their injuries to their character defects.

This study could be deconstructed by someone with more patience and statistical knowledge than I have. It is noteworthy simply because it shows the absurd lengths lockstep establishmentarians will go to suppress any intelligent discussion about the efficacy covid vaccination.
